Nintendo Announce Classic NES Mini Console

https://www.mccarthyarchitecture.com/indigose/11865 I mean, come on. Look at it. JUST LOOK AT IT! Is it not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? Well, ok that’s an exaggeration but it’s darn cute and it can be yours this November.

Nintendo, who after two years of doing very little and now seem to be slaying dragons, will be releasing this tiny version of their iconic Nintendo Entertainment System on November 11th. There’s no official word on their website on pricing but reports from Twitter suggest at $59.99 price, so it’s likely to be around the same or maybe £49.99 unless our currency implodes further.

What do you get? Well you get the small Nintendo unit, with HDMI out for your TV and as USB to power the system. The USB is supposed to connect to an AC Adapter which is going to be sold separately in the UK it seems… Naughty. Although I’m sure it is probably not going to be an overpriced catchment accessory (he says now, but quote me on that come November). You also get a controller which is connected by what looks like the Wii controller ports. So we wonder if this means a classic Wii controller will work with the system.

There’s also 30 games included with some of the stand outs being the three Super Mario games, the two Legend of Zelda Games, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Mega Man 2, Punch Out, Donkey Kong & Jr, and Double Dragon 2.  Don’t ask me why I’ve highlighted these 12… I just like them the most.
